Performance Enhancement Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to enhance our rehabilitation team in Edison, New Jersey. Work Environment

Our clinic operates in an onsite setting, fostering a close-knit team atmosphere that promotes communication, sharing knowledge, and collective problem-solving. The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our facility is designed to provide a comfortable and motivating environment for both patients and staff, emphasizing the importance of enhancing patient outcomes through collaboration and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively treat an average of three adult patients per hour, primarily those aged 40 to 65, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patient conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement a combination of hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational resources.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, occupational therapists, chiropractor, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to optimize care protocols and enhance patient recovery experiences.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress and treatment protocols in CureMD EMR to ensure continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Provide ongoing patient education and support to promote understanding of treatment processes and encourage proactive participation in rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on adult patients, particularly those in the ages of 40 to 65, who may be experiencing a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical recovery, or age-related complications. The role requires an empathetic approach, as you will address both physical rehabilitation needs and support the emotional aspects of recovery for our patients, fostering a trusting environment conducive to healing.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or the eligibility to obtain one is a must.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Clinical skills that prioritize patient outcomes and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of care.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience in an outpatient setting is advantageous, we are open to motivated applicants who are dedicated to patient care.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly CureMD, is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, paired with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
