Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' unique mental health needs, guiding the formation of effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver one-on-one therapeutic sessions, utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.

• Collaborate with clients to establish meaningful therapeutic goals and consistently track their progression, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide teletherapy options, accommodating clients who prefer virtual sessions or face logistical barriers to in-person care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions per ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities, staying current with emerging trends and practices in mental health therapy to serve clients effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Watertown Family Care Center, you will engage with a diverse client population, including adults and youth experiencing a wide range of challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance misuse. Your sensitivity to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client will be central in facilitating effective therapeutic relationships that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field is required.

• Must hold active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting is required.

• Adeep understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or prior experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly favored.

• Annual salary range between USD 80,000 and 104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
