Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's personal trauma history and shape effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and promoting resilience in patients.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care and address the comprehensive needs of each patient.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate emotional support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.
\n
• Education is key—guide patients and their families in understanding trauma responses and coping strategies, as well as informing them about available resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation according to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• Engage in professional development activities and stay current on the latest advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve are primarily individuals grappling with trauma-related challenges, including PTSD and complex trauma. Many of our patients have experienced significant distress and require tailored therapeutic interventions to help them regain control of their lives. Your expertise will directly influence their healing journey by providing empathetic support and effective strategies for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State, valid and in good standing.
\n
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and backgrounds in trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-stress environments while maintaining a calm and composed presence.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in settings focused on trauma recovery.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic modalities and the ability to adapt treatment approaches based on patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
