Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, focusing on therapeutic techniques to improve clients’ mental well-being.
• Encourage open discussion of clients' emotions and experiences to foster self-awareness, personal growth, and healthy interpersonal relationships.
• Advocate for clients by helping them to articulate their goals and expectations within the therapeutic process.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a solution-oriented approach based on established clinical practices and your expertise.
• Document clinical sessions accurately and maintain confidentiality and compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will consist of prescreened clients who are stable and exhibit low acuity challenges. This approach allows you to create a meaningful therapeutic alliance with individuals ready to improve their mental health and well-being. By working with this specific population, you will focus on prevention and intervention strategies, ensuring clients receive care that fosters their resilience and potential for personal development.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related discipline.
• A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
• Excellent computer skills, capable of navigating telehealth platforms and related technologies effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a patient-facing role, providing mental health counseling or related services independently without supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality care during virtual sessions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing learning and development in mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This part-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000, commensurate with your experience and client caseload.
