Bright Mind Intervention Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a part-time basis. Work Environment

This fully remote position allows mental health counselors to work from the comfort of their home or any location with an internet connection. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on enhancing clients’ mental health and wellness.
• Utilize an empathetic approach to encourage clients to share their feelings and experiences, facilitating a deeper understanding of themselves and their interpersonal relationships.
• Advocate for clients by helping them articulate their goals and fostering a supportive environment for the discussion of challenges.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions through effective assessment methods, and develop personalized treatment plans using a solution-based approach grounded in your professional expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with clients who have been pre-screened to ensure they are stable and present with low acuity needs. This allows you to focus on implementing therapeutic strategies that promote self-awareness and healthy coping mechanisms rather than crisis management. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving the overall well-being of individuals who are seeking support in a low-stress environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• An active license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Proven ability to practice independently, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and ethical decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate disposition towards client care.
• Proficiency in using telehealth technology and relevant software platforms to manage client care effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapeutic interventions in a telehealth setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Experience in counseling, therapeutic goal setting, and the implementation of treatment plans targeting various mental health concerns will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
