Work Environment\n

This is primarily a remote position, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own workspace. Our outpatient office also serves as a supportive hub for our team, where collaboration via telehealth systems occurs. Expect to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as part of a rotational schedule, thereby ensuring flexibility and a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, allowing for precise treatment pathways.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring an integrative approach to care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on the complexities of mood disorders, treatment options available, and essential self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document clients' progress and treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to clients.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current research and methodologies in the treatment of mood disorders to improve treatment strategies.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by keeping accurate documentation of all clinical interactions, assessments, and treatment plans.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance clinical skills tailored towards mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for clients, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders and promote mental health awareness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Your role is crucial in changing the lives of these individuals as you provide them with the tools and support they need to manage their conditions effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on mood disorders.

• Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically CBT and DBT, to effectively address client needs.

• A robust understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare teams.

• Proven success in providing positive outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
