Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify areas of focus.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions that address specific patient needs and challenges.
\n
• Document patient interactions thoroughly, including the completion of billing, individual treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within company deadlines.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis and safety plans when necessary, as well as relapse prevention and wellness plans to maintain stable patient functioning.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans to ensure smooth transitions for patients exiting therapy.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and high-quality service.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuous education and training sessions.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to discuss care strategies and collaborative solutions.
\n
• Complete all licensure and mandatory training to remain compliant and proficient in your role.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As part of a well-established outpatient facility, you will work with diverse patient populations ranging from children to adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• You must hold a current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in community mental health settings or outpatient care is highly valued.

• Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competency in delivering mental health services.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms is appreciated.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with licensed experience.
