Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each client’s unique needs, developing personalized therapeutic strategies.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family settings, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation that comply with legal and ethical standards while also ensuring confidentiality.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care tailored to clients’ mental health journeys, including coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Participate in professional development opportunities such as workshops and webinars to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health practices and therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on working with a diverse client base, including adults, families, and adolescents facing varied mental health issues. Our patients often experience challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns, and they may require specialized care for substance use disorders or crisis situations. Your ability to empathize and build rapport will be crucial in creating a safe and trusting environment for these individuals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is essential, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the scope of mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and telehealth technology is necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly beneficial.
• Background in working with marginalized populations who may experience barriers to mental health access is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and workload.
