The Community Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will play a critical part in the mental well-being of our clients, conducting thorough evaluations, devising tailored treatment plans, and leading both individual and group therapy sessions. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, documenting client cases from start to finish.

• Develop personalized intervention and treatment plans that align with the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions through the telehealth platform, utilizing best practices in psychotherapy.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout treatment to adjust plans as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery pathways.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of other mental health specialists, medical professionals, and social workers to coordinate effective treatment strategies.

• Conduct follow-up communications with psychiatrists for clients requiring inpatient care, thereby supporting a continuum of care.
\n
• Proactively identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, recommending suitable interventions for clients and their families.
\n
• Provide guidance to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to manage and understand mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Your role is essential in assessing and addressing the mental, behavioral, and emotional health needs of clients in a sensitive and respectful manner, promoting healing through understanding and professional care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Successful completion of the national counselor examination (NCE) or national clinical mental health counseling examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in a telehealth setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to manage client records efficiently.
\n
• Experience addressing a variety of psychological and physical health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong understanding of the effects of psychotropic medications and how they impact treatment plans.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
