Work Environment

The rehabilitation center features a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite within a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will have access to various resources, including a well-maintained gym space for rehabilitation exercises and a private consultation area for one-on-one patient assessments. The environment encourages teamwork, and you will collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and aides to create a comprehensive care plan for each patient.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and challenges, developing customized treatment plans based on their unique needs.
• Administering therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to aid in recovery.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment plans, recovery strategies, and exercises to be performed at home.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and facility protocols.
• Participating in team meetings to discuss patient care, share insights, and contribute to improving facility practices.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Physical Therapist License.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
