Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, devising personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Provide direct patient care, administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about effective rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention, and wellness techniques.
• Document patient progress meticulously, using our electronic health record system to track treatment outcomes and adjust care strategies.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, collaborate on care strategies, and contribute to case reviews.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various conditions requiring rehabilitation services. This includes orthopedic patients, post-operative recovery cases, stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will be vital in helping these individuals regain their mobility, strength, and independence, fundamentally impacting their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physical Therapist License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; candidates with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation environments.

Preferred Experience

Experience in working with a similar patient demographic, particularly in rehabilitation settings, is highly desirable. Skills in specialized therapeutic techniques or certifications in areas such as geriatric care, sports rehabilitation, or manual therapy are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This includes:
