Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities to design tailored rehabilitation programs.
• Administer therapy sessions, guiding patients through exercises that promote mobility, strength, pain relief, and overall recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress in real-time, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure alignment with health objectives.
• Assist a diverse caseload of approximately seven patients daily, focusing on communicating effectively with each individual and their families about treatment expectations and progress.
• Provide accurate, informative responses to inquiries from patients and their families, ensuring they have access to resources that support their care journey.
• Work collaboratively with a wide range of healthcare professionals within the facility to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Perform administrative duties as needed, including maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include individuals undergoing rehabilitation after surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain management needs. You will work closely with diverse patient demographics, allowing for a rich and rewarding experience as you help each person regain their physical health and independence.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a current New York State Physical Therapist License.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, an advanced degree (MSPT or DPT) is preferred.
• A strong foundation of knowledge in therapeutic techniques and treatment modalities is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, showcasing a history of effective treatment planning and execution.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently manage patient documentation.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
