This position operates remotely, allowing you to deliver care from the comfort of your own space while still being an integral part of our outpatient office setting. Firefly Support Groups Counseling Center promotes a collaborative virtual work culture that facilitates communication amongst team members, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care at all times. A typical workweek runs from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional scheduling flexibility to address client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify client needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Create personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies, ensuring that interventions are tailored to each client's unique situation.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other contemporary techniques to effectively facilitate mental health recovery.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, preserving client confidentiality and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

• Engage in regular interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness and client care quality.

• Participate in case consultations and peer review sessions to share knowledge and improve therapeutic practices within the team.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatments, and community resources, empowering them for a successful recovery journey.

• Stay abreast of current research trends and innovations in mental health to incorporate cutting-edge practices into your clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at Firefly will primarily focus on adolescents and adults facing mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will have the opportunity to influence the lives of individuals struggling with their mental health by fostering resilience and personal growth, helping them navigate their path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in the fields of Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• An active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a licensed psychologist in the state of California.

• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and the ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the distinct needs of individual clients.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities relevant to clinical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in outpatient settings or with underserved populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth practices is an asset as we strive to reach a broader client base through virtual platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
