We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Oakbend Physical Therapy, located in the beautiful city of Fort Myers, Florida. Work Environment

You will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, in a setting that emphasizes collaborative patient care, encouraging staff to innovate and share expertise in pursuit of superior health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs and goals.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment protocols that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education to maximize recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate patient treatment strategies.
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and their families during their visits.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper exercise techniques and self-care strategies, empowering them with knowledge to support recovery at home.
• Track patient progress and outcomes, adhering to performance metrics and business objectives to optimize service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with proficiency in desktop and electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to building strong, therapeutic relationships with patients to foster trust and enhance treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred, allowing for greater depth of knowledge in patient management and treatment strategies. Experience in specialized areas such as sports medicine or pediatric care would be a valuable addition as well.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes performance-based incentives, fitness incentives, and an employee assistance program.
