This full-time position will be primarily remote, providing mental health services through a telehealth model. Work Environment\n

This role offers a unique telehealth setting, allowing you to provide high-quality services from the comfort of your home while still being part of a collaborative team. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed in a rotational capacity. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to connect with clients effectively and deliver seamless care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and frequency of symptoms associated with mood disorders.

• Collaborate with each client to create individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and therapeutic needs, integrating their input throughout the process.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care practices.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, optimizing mental health outcomes.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards in all record-keeping and documentation practices.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies for improving patient care.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing stigma around mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients experiencing a variety of mood disorders. This includes conducting intake assessments, creating and monitoring treatment plans, and offering therapeutic support. You will make a significant difference in the lives of individuals and families grappling with these challenges, providing them with skills and strategies to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Two or more years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in treating mood disorders.

• Solid expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills crucial for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

Specialization in mood disorders and a proven ability to deliver successful therapeutic outcomes are preferred. Familiarity with psychopharmacology and experience working in a collaborative healthcare environment will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
