Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to devise targeted, individualized therapy plans for clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches in delivering counseling services to individuals, groups, families, and couples.

• Employ various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused short-term therapy, and psychodynamic therapy according to the needs of each client.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, enhancing their overall treatment experience.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and staying abreast of the latest research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance misuse. Our clients often come from underserved communities, and as an LPC at Life Line, you will utilize your skills to provide critical support and resources to these individuals and families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other digital tools is essential for client documentation and treatment management.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice is critical.
