This role offers the flexibility of remote work while being closely integrated with local schools in Sherwood, Oregon. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique circumstances and needs.

• Collaborate with school staff and the broader healthcare team to create effective discharge plans, ensuring students receive ongoing support and resources as needed.

• Provide timely counseling and crisis interventions, focusing on the assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral challenges that impact students' academic performance and social interactions.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including clinical notes and progress reports, in accordance with best practices and departmental policies.

• Engage in ongoing consultation with families and support systems, facilitating effective communication regarding treatment goals and discharge strategies to enhance the well-being of students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents navigating a range of emotional and behavioral challenges that affect their daily functioning at school and in their personal lives. Your expertise will help students cope with anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, and behavioral issues while collaborating closely with educators and parents to ensure an environment conducive to learning and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in clinical social work or a related field, preferably in a school or educational setting.

• Proficient computer skills, with experience using electronic medical records systems, word processing applications, email, and spreadsheets.
