Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote working setting, allowing for flexibility and convenience in meeting with clients through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. While you will primarily work from home, there may be opportunities for in-office collaboration at our outpatient facility in Erie for team meetings, professional development, and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing best practices in a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth environment.

• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' family dynamics, relationship histories, and trauma exposure, leading to tailored treatment planning.
\n
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of clients and are aligned with best therapeutic practices.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing immediate emotional distress, coordinating with local crisis resources as needed.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and clear clinical documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Educate clients and their families on effective communication techniques, boundary setting, and coping strategies to enhance their daily functioning.
\n
• Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings, discussing complex cases and effectively collaborating on client care plans to ensure comprehensive support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing a wide array of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. Your therapeutic approach will be client-centered, emphasizing empathy, understanding, and individualized care to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the Pennsylvania Board of Behavioral Sciences.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques.

• Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals through the American Heart Association.
\n
• A strong clinical background that includes successful experience with individual, couples, and family therapy.
\n
• Proficiency in responding calmly and effectively in crisis situations, providing immediate support when needed.
\n
• Flexibility to work with a variety of client issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, family dynamics, and relational challenges.

• Thorough understanding of ethical guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and HIPAA regulations to uphold client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly with structured outpatient programs or partial hospitalization.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or family systems therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
