Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities, documenting findings to create tailored treatment plans.
• Design and implement personalized therapeutic interventions that may include hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities such as heat, ice, and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective self-management strategies for injuries, including proper body mechanics, posture correction, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and other healthcare specialists, to provide integrated care for our patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring documentation meets both legal standards and organizational requirements while also aiding in continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes individuals recovering from surgical procedures, those experiencing chronic pain conditions, and patients with sports-related injuries. We also focus on older adults managing age-related conditions such as osteoarthritis and balance disorders. This varied patient demographic allows you to implement individualized therapies tailored to each patient's specific needs, promoting recovery and functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Active board certification through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.

Compensation and Benefits
