Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center operates onsite, providing a hands-on therapeutic environment where our Physical Therapists engage directly with patients. You will work a standard 40-hour week with some variable weekends, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Mindful Physical Therapy, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their functional limitations and needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Providing expert consultation to other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and therapy progression.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions, treatment protocols, and patient progress in compliance with industry standards.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, ensuring a well-coordinated approach to patient care.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and enhance the overall care strategy for patients.
• Engaging in community outreach initiatives to promote physical health and the services we offer.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain issues. We focus on understanding each patient's unique background, culture, and needs, ensuring that care is respectful and tailored. As a Physical Therapist, you will develop rapport with patients, guiding them through recovery with empathy, patience, and expert knowledge.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in necessary computer applications.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation or clinical setting. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and evidence-based therapeutic practices will be a significant advantage in providing optimal patient care.
