This role is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from your home or preferred location. Clients will be seen through our secure Simple Practice platform, where you'll be equipped to handle virtual appointments seamlessly. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate students’ mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Engage with students through virtual counseling sessions, utilizing video conferencing tools while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will primarily work with students ranging from elementary through high school, addressing a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Your work may also involve providing support for families during challenging times, thereby helping to create a holistic and nurturing environment for the student.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid license as a mental health clinician (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Virginia.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.

\n
