Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, considering any underlying medical conditions that may impact the patient’s mental wellness.

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that integrate strategies for addressing psychiatric and medical challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

• Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary health team to coordinate care and optimize treatment effectiveness.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, ensuring immediate support and appropriate resolution paths.

• Empower clients with education on the interconnection between mental health and physical health, fostering their ability to manage their conditions proactively.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal standards and ethical practices.

• Engage in team meetings and interdisciplinary case conferences to contribute insights and support coordinated care efforts.

• Stay informed about the latest research, advancements, and best practices in mental health care, particularly in integrated settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice focuses on serving a diverse patient population, particularly individuals with mental health concerns complicated by co-occurring medical conditions. This role requires a therapist who understands the intricacies of treating such clients and is driven by a desire to improve both their mental well-being and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Experience working with clients dealing with mental health issues and co-occurring medical conditions preferred.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on building rapport with clients.

• Professionalism in maintaining boundaries, along with adherence to ethical guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with common therapeutic software tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
