Work Environment

The role will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Dulles, Virginia. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to support comprehensive physical therapy treatments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing clinical assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation results and treatment protocols to both patients and their families, promoting involvement in the goal-setting process.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies and protocols, adapting to individual patient needs and the current healthcare landscape.
• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care, addressing any changes in the patient's condition and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care outside the rehabilitation center.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to marketing efforts aimed at promoting our rehabilitation services within the community.
• Engage in continuing education to further personal and organizational growth, while also serving as a clinical instructor to train and mentor students.
• Proactively identify barriers affecting patient access and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving patient throughput and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our focus on patient-centered care means that you will help guide patients through their rehabilitation journeys, leveraging your expertise to motivate and empower them towards their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in an outpatient setting is not mandatory, candidates with a background in orthopedic physical therapy or sports rehabilitation are highly desirable. We value diverse experiences and are open to new approaches in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
