As a full-time physical therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to individuals of all ages. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and facilitating recovery through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite within the home care setting, allowing therapists to engage with patients in familiar surroundings, which is beneficial for recovery. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals in a collegial atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting thorough physical therapy evaluations for children, assessing their unique needs and physical capabilities.
• Designing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans that address specific clinical needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Continuously reassessing and documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate records, including SOAP notes and progress summaries, using the company's electronic health record system within required timeframes.
• Educating patients and their families about the recovery journey, including setting realistic expectations and overcoming potential barriers.
• Meeting established performance and utilization goals while managing time efficiently.
• Collaborating with colleagues across various disciplines to provide integrated care for clients utilizing multiple services.
• Embodying and promoting Calibre Ortho Care's core values, serving as an ambassador for our company culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults with orthopedic conditions. This entails working with individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent and inclusive care. Your flexible approach to therapy will allow you to adapt to the varying needs of patients while utilizing both in-person visits and telehealth options when appropriate.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Hold a current and unrestricted state licensure from the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy.
• Be willing and able to perform evaluations and treatments both in-person and via telehealth, as clinically indicated.
• Demonstrate a strong desire to work with a broad range of patients across different ages and demographics.
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Be committed to teamwork, collaboration, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and working with pediatric clients. Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
