This position is set within an outpatient office, but as a remote role, you will primarily engage with clients through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, ensuring timely and accurate diagnosis.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with departmental policies and legal requirements.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams to design and implement individualized treatment plans, adjusting them as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Engage with community resource leaders, representing Mindful Therapy & Wellness at meetings and committees to advocate for patient needs and enhance community ties.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to meet the diverse needs of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied patient demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges related to mental health issues, substance use disorders, and significant life transitions. Your role will focus on fostering resilience and promoting emotional well-being amongst those you serve, providing support through empathetic counseling strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
\n
• A valid and active LMFT license in California is mandatory.
\n
• Three years of clinical experience, particularly within an outpatient setting, focusing on crisis intervention, and working with diverse client populations.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong analytical and organizational abilities.

• A thorough understanding of established clinical policies and ethics, with the ability to exercise professional judgment in challenging situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience using telehealth platforms to deliver therapy sessions effectively.

• Demonstrated competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment management.

• Familiarity with community resources and support systems within the Compton area to enhance service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Mindful Therapy & Wellness offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
