Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their goals, challenges, and overall needs, and develop personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage an active caseload, providing focused, one-on-one sessions with each patient to ensure effective rehabilitation strategies are implemented.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to facilitate recovery, enhance mobility, and restore function.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment strategies, integrating modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Monitor patient progress through detailed evaluations and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions clearly and accurately using our EMR system (WebPT), ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and trainers, to provide comprehensive care, ensuring patient goals align with interdisciplinary objectives.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthy lifestyle changes that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being.
• Provide education and rehabilitation strategies that empower patients to minimize reliance on medications or invasive surgical procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients, ranging from athletes eager to return to peak performance to seniors looking to regain their independence in daily activities. Understanding and addressing the unique needs of each patient is crucial to your role.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist with a clean professional record is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation principles.
• Exceptional competency in developing and implementing exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to document patient care services.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Experience in designing individualized fitness and wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
