Physical Therapist - Therapy - Full-Time

Position Overview Active Living Orthopedic Facility is seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their overall quality of life. You will work directly with patients to provide evidence-based physical therapy treatments tailored specifically to their needs, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.

As a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will work in a dynamic and interactive environment that prioritizes patient engagement and recovery. You will be part of a collaborative team, including two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), where knowledge sharing and teamwork contribute to superior patient outcomes. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities, ensuring an optimal setting for both therapists and clients.

Manage a caseload averaging one patient per hour, allowing for extensive hands-on care and interaction.

Deliver personalized physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion, strength, and overall functionality.

Implement various evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities.

Engage in active patient education, guiding individuals through their recovery journey and motivating them to adhere to rehabilitation protocols.

Work closely with adjunct healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of treatment.

Document and maintain detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes within the EMR system, particularly using WebPT.

Our facility primarily serves individuals dealing with orthopedic conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic musculoskeletal disorders. We treat a diverse population, including athletes, older adults, and those with injuries sustained in daily activities. Our goal is to create individualized, patient-focused care that addresses the unique challenges and needs of each client.

A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

A Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.

Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the capacity to develop and administer exercise protocols effectively.

Experience using EMR software, with a preference for familiarity with WebPT.

A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

A background in developing community health programs or workshops focused on preventive measures and wellness.
