Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health and emotional well-being of clients, using standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings, ensuring they align with each client's personal goals and needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy.

• Continuously monitor and track client progress, modifying treatment strategies as needed to meet evolving client needs.

• Provide crisis intervention support for clients experiencing acute emotional distress, ensuring immediate and effective response protocols are followed.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, using our electronic health record (EHR) system, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance care approaches and share insights relevant to client treatment.

• Stay current with mental health research and clinical advancements through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

• Participate in regular supervision sessions and team meetings, contributing to and learning from collective knowledge and experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients served by Brain Builders Counseling Center predominantly include individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and various psychological disorders. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of clients from different backgrounds and life experiences. You will work with adult clients primarily, often collaborating with families or support systems when appropriate.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) is mandatory.
