This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients through virtual sessions. Our outpatient facility is equipped with cutting-edge technological resources to streamline communication and documentation processes. We operate with flexibility to accommodate various client schedules, providing therapy services from 7 AM to 10 PM throughout the week, thus enabling you to design a work schedule that meets your needs and those of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at delivering effective mental health care:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' individual trauma histories.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and building resilience, drawing on best practices in the field.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each client.

• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with a variety of trauma-related challenges, including but not limited to PTSD, anxiety disorders, and depression. Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, which necessitates a strong understanding of cultural and socioeconomic factors affecting mental health. Your ability to work with clients from different backgrounds will be essential in fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
