Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will engage in a variety of responsibilities aimed at promoting positive mental health outcomes, including:

• Applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques to empower clients in achieving their personal therapy goals, drawing on modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Collaborating closely with other team members, including psychiatrists and nurses, to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Undertaking preliminary actions by piloting new therapeutic approaches and contributing to continuous improvement of client care practices.

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing thorough reports, including vocational recommendations that are aligned with individual client comprehension levels.

• Performing detailed biopsychosocial evaluations to assess clients’ suitability for various therapeutic interventions and work opportunities.

• Delivering culturally competent individual and group counseling regarding mental health and substance use issues, ensuring inclusivity and responsiveness to the diverse backgrounds of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

To qualify for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor role, candidates must possess:
