As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Crossbend Behavioral Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient intakes and evaluations to assess mental health needs, recommending treatment goals and plans to the primary care provider.

• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions to patients requiring mental health services, tailoring your approach based on individual diagnoses and functional assessments.

• Collaborating with primary care providers to identify patients suitable for primary care management versus those needing specialized mental health services.

• Monitoring patient progress and conducting follow-ups to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary.

• Developing relapse prevention plans and offering strategies for patients to maintain stable functioning and healthier lifestyle choices.

• Documenting patient progress meticulously in treatment charts to maintain accurate clinical records while adhering to agency and federally qualified health center guidelines.

• Providing educational resources and self-management strategies that empower patients in taking an active role in their recovery journey.

• Contributing to clinic management discussions regarding program evaluation and potential areas for behavioral services improvement.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling.

• A valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000–105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus.
