Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic methods to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring adherence to confidentiality.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, sharing insights and coordinating treatment plans that holistically address client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on a diverse range of clients who often have limited access to mental health services. You will work with individuals dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges, providing invaluable support and guidance throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling environment is essential, with a preference for clinical experience.

• Strong understanding of legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in mental health practice.
