Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and create personalized care strategies.

• Develop, implement, and periodically review individualized treatment plans that are aligned with clients' goals and preferences.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies to effectively support clients.

• Collaborate with clients in exploring coping mechanisms and life skills that aid in managing symptoms and enhancing overall well-being.

• Accurately maintain confidential client records in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal regulations, ensuring a high standard of care.

• Take part in ongoing supervision, case consultations, and professional development activities to continually expand your clinical skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse clientele includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relational issues. As a counselor at Beacon of Hope, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their specific needs through tailored therapy and support, contributing to meaningful and transformative outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
\n
• Possession of an independent license from the state of Washington (either LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW); limited/provisional licenses are not accepted.
\n
• A proven ability to perform professional evaluations, make informed treatment recommendations, and effectively implement care plans.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong empathetic approach to client engagement.
\n
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in outpatient therapy settings and proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities will be an advantage. Candidates who have worked with diverse populations or possess bilingual capabilities are encouraged to apply, as our client base is varied and distinctly unique.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, reflective of the experience and qualifications of the candidate. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide:
