This full-time position is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Port Charlotte, Florida. Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic rehabilitation center that is equipped with the latest technology and resources for effective patient care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a consistent work schedule that promotes a balanced work-life dynamic for our employees. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care tailored to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a patient load that allows for focused attention to individual therapy sessions, ensuring quality care delivery.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to formulate effective treatment strategies based on best practices.
• Implement cost-effective treatment options that prioritize patient safety and recovery while limiting reliance on surgical interventions and medications.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modalities for pain relief.
• Modify and tailor fitness programs to meet the unique requirements of each patient, helping them achieve optimal results.
• Offer evidence-based interventions and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary for continuous improvement.
• Encourage patient motivation and engagement throughout their rehabilitation journey, celebrating their milestones and achievements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management issues. Our client base includes athletes, active adults, and elderly individuals seeking to regain mobility and improve their physical function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, without any history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• A strong command of manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for precise patient documentation and record-keeping.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of contemporary physical therapy research and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation, is favorable.
• A background in sports medicine is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Experience with evidence-based practice methodologies and the application of innovative therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time physical therapist position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
