Work Environment

This is an onsite position based in our outpatient clinic in Punta Gorda, Florida. You will be working in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment where a team of experienced physical therapists, exercise specialists, and administrative staff work together to provide holistic care. With a standard 9 am to 5 pm work schedule from Monday to Friday, this role offers a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and rehabilitation plans for patients based on thorough assessments of their physical conditions and individual goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring each patient receives adequate time and attention during their sessions.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to apply effective treatment methods that address specific patient needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and manual therapy techniques, focusing on non-surgical alternatives to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, combining a range of treatment modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and overall physical capabilities.
• Provide continuous motivation and support to patients, helping them stay engaged in their treatment journey.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to ensure a seamless flow of patient information.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and develop integrated treatment strategies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans regularly and adjust approaches in collaboration with patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients who are seeking rehabilitation from injuries or surgeries, as well as individuals with chronic pain syndromes and sports-related injuries. You will be serving a community that values comprehensive care and proactive health management, enabling you to make a significant impact on their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess an active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Exhibit mastery of various manual therapy modalities and demonstrate exceptional ability in creating effective exercise programs.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain precise patient documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and research in physical therapy to provide informed, evidence-based care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic or similar healthcare environment preferred.
• Experience with specialty services such as sports medicine or rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
