TruSolutions Therapy Care is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Rehabilitation Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This on-site role is essential in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our diverse client base, focusing on enhancing patients' mobility, health, and overall quality of life. An annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 will be offered, commensurate with experience.

Work Environment

You will work in a supportive and vibrant rehabilitation center located in the picturesque Saint Petersburg area. This full-time, on-site position will have you collaborating daily with a multidisciplinary team committed to providing top-notch rehabilitation services. Flexibility is key: your schedule involves shifts from Monday to Thursday, with evening work hours (3 PM - 7 PM), and a 4-hour day shift on Fridays, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while meeting patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional limitations, utilizing advanced assessment techniques to determine appropriate diagnoses for injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
• Implement tailored treatment plans using evidence-based physical therapy modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercises to foster independence and promote long-term wellness.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and students, ensuring high standards of practice are consistently maintained throughout care delivery.
• Engage actively in the quality improvement process by contributing to departmental initiatives and ensuring operational excellence in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role focuses on a broad range of patients, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations, each with unique rehabilitation needs. You will apply your expertise to individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions, tailoring your approach to ensure effective and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Master's degree or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare environment, demonstrating hands-on skills with similar patient demographics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform therapeutic techniques effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
• A commitment to continuous learning, including participation in workshops, seminars, or further education relevant to physical therapy practices.
