Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing physical therapists to work in the homes of our clients throughout the Tampa area. Our therapists enjoy the flexibility to choose their own schedules, typically working from Monday to Friday. The home care setting fosters a one-on-one relationship with patients, allowing therapists to develop deeper insights into their patients' lives and challenges while providing comfort and convenience in familiar surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions directly in their homes, using specialized assessment techniques to identify their unique needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that encompass therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities designed to alleviate pain and improve functionality.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment methods as necessary to align with evolving therapeutic goals and needs.
• Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately to inform ongoing care and facilitate communication within interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on self-care techniques, including the proper use of assistive devices such as walkers and braces, to enhance mobility and independence.
• Stay current in the field by attending workshops, exploring professional literature, and participating in relevant professional organizations, thereby fostering personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• Current CPR certification.
