Work Environment\n

The position is fully remote, allowing you to bring mental health care directly into homes. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on the needs of patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs and mental health challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices to cater to the unique developmental stages of each patient.

• Implement therapeutic interventions that are tailored to address a variety of mental health conditions, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions designed to empower parents and caregivers, equipping them with the tools to support their child effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists and educational specialists, to deliver coordinated and holistic patient care.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention when needed, ensuring immediate support for children and adolescents facing mental health crises.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to encourage informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge base.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health, continuously integrating new insights into your therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. You will work closely with patients and their families to foster understanding and facilitate healing processes. Building trust and rapport is pivotal, as the well-being of your young patients significantly relies on a supportive and understanding therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, specifically working with children and adolescents.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, effective treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

• Proven expertise in delivering both individual and family therapy tailored to young individuals.
\n
• Prominent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach.
\n
• Ability to establish and maintain rapport with children, adolescents, and their families in a remote therapy setting.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and computer applications pertinent to modern therapeutic practices.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team oriented towards positive mental health outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers an attractive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, along with a competitive sign-on bonus.
