While our outpatient office in Islip serves as the main facility, the remote environment ensures that you can effectively engage with patients and colleagues from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Our focus is on providing empathetic and understanding care that addresses the individualized needs of each patient, working closely not only with the young clients but also with their families to ensure comprehensive support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with an emphasis on child and adolescent mental health counseling preferred.

• Knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated experience providing both individual and family therapy in a clinical setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong ability to connect with children, young clients, and their families in a supportive manner.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
