Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with primary care providers to recognize and manage mental health and psychosocial issues, functioning as an integral member of the healthcare team.

• Conducting initial patient intakes, performing detailed diagnostic assessments, and recommending personalized treatment plans to the primary care provider.
\n
• Delivering brief, focused interventions for clients who require mental health services, ensuring timely and relevant guidance.
\n
• Assessing whether patients are better suited for the primary care setting or need referral to specialty mental health facilities, based on individual needs.
\n
• Following up with patients to monitor progress and determine necessary adjustments in treatment strategies.
\n
• Developing and implementing relapse prevention plans to sustain patients' mental health stability.
\n
• Identifying high-risk patients and devising effective intervention plans aimed at preventing deterioration of their conditions.
\n
• Coordinating care with various treatment providers, within and outside of the primary care environment, as consented by patients.
\n
• Documenting patient progress and diagnostic information accurately in the clinical treatment chart.
\n
• Collaborating with primary care teams to develop and review treatment plans, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of patient needs and advancements.
\n
• Guiding patients on making healthier lifestyle choices and implementing behavioral changes to improve their overall health.
\n
• Providing educational resources to empower patients in their treatment journey, including self-management skills.
\n
• Consulting with clinic management on behavioral health services and contributing ideas for program evaluation and improvement.
\n
• Supporting patients in adhering to medical treatments prescribed by primary care providers, including strategies for managing potential medication side effects.

• Maintaining compliance with the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related mental health field.

• Current and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and relevant therapeutic approaches, including familiarity with DSM-IV diagnostics.

• Ability to assess individual patient needs effectively and adapt care strategies accordingly.

• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate clinical records and prepare detailed reports.

• Excellent communication skills to establish cooperative relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
