South Central Behavioral Health Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our remote outpatient team in Tacoma, Washington. Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while being integrated within a supportive outpatient office framework. Our therapists operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify each patient’s needs and formulate personalized treatment plans that align with best practices.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and others tailored to individual, couple, and family sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups, providing patients with community support, sharing coping strategies, and encouraging dialogue around mental health issues.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services and support patients during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources in the community.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in regular case consultations, departmental meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay informed of emerging research and therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with patients experiencing a range of conditions from anxiety and depression to severe personality and mood disorders, allowing you to apply your expertise across a wide spectrum of mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington state is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
