Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to the specific needs of clients, ensuring thorough assessments and evaluations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse groups, including individuals, couples, and families, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic medical records (EMR) software efficiently.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including occasional participation in case conferences to discuss treatment plans.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to advance knowledge in the evolving landscape of mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on delivering mental health services to underserved populations who may face barriers to receiving adequate care. The role requires the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing trauma, substance use issues, and family conflicts. Counselors will work closely to help clients navigate their challenges and develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
