The ideal candidate will possess the necessary credentials—such as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC—and will have a compassionate approach towards offering therapeutic support in a remote capacity from our affiliated Hospice Center in Bakersfield, California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations, ensuring that each client's unique therapeutic needs are accurately identified and addressed.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring regular follow-ups to track progress and adjust strategies as necessary.

• Actively engage in the multi-disciplinary team process, collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create cohesive and effective treatment plans.

• Provide supervision and mentorship to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, enhancing their professional growth and specialized training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients facing challenges related to substance abuse and complex mental health disorders. This includes individuals from varying backgrounds who may experience mood disorders, anxiety, and relational difficulties. Your role is critical in establishing supportive therapeutic relationships that promote healing and foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a preference for specialization in mood disorders.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and experience in collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to optimize client care.

• A proven track record of delivering positive client outcomes in the realm of mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
