Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients based on thorough assessments and collaborative discussions. Conduct regular evaluations to ensure treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary.

• Conduct outpatient psychotherapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, providing tailored therapy that meets the specific needs of your clients.

• Prepare comprehensive intake assessments, treatment summaries, and case documentation, meticulously adhering to state regulations and NCQA standards for confidentiality and quality of care.
\n
• Work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to evaluate clients' needs for psychotropic medications and engage with external community resources to support clients effectively.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategies regarding client progress and treatment strategies.
\n
• If qualified, supervise and mentor associate therapists and fellows, fostering their development in clinical practice.
\n
• Provide education and resources to clients’ families, educating them on treatment protocols and ways they can support their loved ones through the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include a mix of adults and children presenting with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other complex psychological needs. You will play a pivotal role in delivering culturally competent care and fostering an inclusive environment where all clients feel understood and respected.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient settings, familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches, and a history of working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams are highly desirable. Experience with telehealth services is also beneficial, as we prioritize providing care through virtual platforms.
