Work Environment\n

The position offers a flexible remote work setting through telehealth, which enhances our ability to reach and connect with clients who may face barriers to traditional in-person therapy. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with opportunities for flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the varying needs of our clients. By leveraging telehealth technology, you will deliver high-quality therapy in a convenient and client-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to develop effective and individualized treatment plans for each client.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions specific to each patient's unique cultural and personal background, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addressing mental health concerns and fostering resilience and well-being among clients.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take charge of their mental health journey.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to continuously improve service delivery.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, integrating new insights and methodologies into your practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and the principles of cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive approaches that respect and acknowledge clients' backgrounds.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
