Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, facilitating a flexible work-life balance tailored to the needs of our staff and patients. The telehealth model ensures that we reach individuals in their own environments, reducing barriers to care while maintaining a supportive and empathetic approach. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment methods.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience through evidence-based interventions.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in navigating their trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for each patient.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, fostering safety and reassurance for patients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their recovery journey.

• Ensure meticulous documentation is maintained in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and improve our practice of trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to refine skills and enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We pride ourselves on understanding the nuances of each patient's story and adapting our approach to best meet their specific needs, facilitating healing in a respectful and affirming manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based interventions with a proven track record of success.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.

• Proficiency in navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to thrive within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering treatment in a telehealth setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 – 105,000 annually, reflecting experience and expertise.
