Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories, establishing evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to their unique experiences.

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and coping strategies, ensuring regular updates based on therapeutic progress.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.

• Facilitate supportive group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to share experiences and develop communal support for their healing journeys.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated treatment approaches for optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide timely crisis intervention support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• Educate clients and their support networks about trauma origins, trauma response, and adaptive coping mechanisms, enhancing overall understanding and recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with trauma survivors who are confronting various challenges related to their experiences. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping them navigate their trauma responses and implement adaptive strategies for coping and healing. Our diverse client base may include individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma from adverse childhood experiences, and related mental health disorders, all seeking a safe space for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is essential.

• Possession of a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, as well as trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience working with trauma-focused interventions and therapies.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is mandated, candidates with specialized training in trauma-focused therapies or additional clinical certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
