Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' unique trauma histories, enabling you to tailor effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the incorporation of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Occasionally lead group therapy sessions designed to help participants process their trauma collectively and develop shared coping strategies.

• Engage in collaborative care by frequently consulting with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention strategies during moments of trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the mental health resources available to them.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to safeguard client privacy.

Your primary focus will be on serving individuals affected by various traumatic experiences, including those suffering from PTSD, which can originate from abuse, accidents, or significant life changes. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is essential for this role.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and strategies for building resilience.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions to ensure clients receive the best care possible.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor that fosters a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• Ability to handle high-stress scenarios with calm and composure, ensuring a sense of safety for the patients.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
