Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while maintaining collaboration and connectivity with our multidisciplinary team. While the primary workdays are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some adjustments to scheduling may occur based on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies tailored to each individual's needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques, ensuring that clients receive the support they need at every stage of their journey.

• Deliver specialized therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, acquire coping mechanisms, and foster healing through shared experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for our patients, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient progress.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients are safe and have access to the resources they need.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and helpful coping strategies, fostering a supportive network that enhances their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical considerations, ensuring that all patient records are up-to-date and secure.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Regularly review the latest research and best practices relating to trauma therapy, adapting your approaches to remain at the forefront of the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work collaboratively with clients to support their unique journeys toward recovery, facilitating healing within a compassionate and understanding framework. This role is particularly vital in assisting patients to reclaim their narratives and develop resilience in the face of their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably focused on trauma treatment.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a strong understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• A calm and collected disposition in high-stress situations, showcasing your ability to support individuals in crisis.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications to manage patient information effectively.
