Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and build resilience in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Engage in collaborative care by consulting with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals ensuring integrated treatment approaches.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate assistance to those in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping strategies for ongoing support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to remain informed on best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults and adolescents grappling with trauma-related challenges. This includes individuals diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The aim is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care that fosters understanding, healing, and empowerment for each client, allowing them to move forward on their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health counseling, specifically within trauma care.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-focused treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios, ensuring effective support for patients.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with extensive backgrounds in trauma treatment or advanced certifications in specific trauma therapy modalities will be at an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
